Does it matter if only one parent does SleepTalk?

Generally, it’s better for both parents to be involved since the child develops their sense of self-worth and self-acceptance from both parents. Sometimes it is just the single parent raising a child.

There are a variety of reasons why a parent may not be able to do SleepTalk at any given time.

Fortunately in this day and age there is an easy work-around that many parents employ as a “back up.”

Simply record the SleepTalk script onto the other parent’s mobile phone and play the recording when required.
